Life is uncertain. Eat dessert first.

There's nothing better than finishing a good meal with a good dessert. My husband used to believe that you have to make a pause between the meal and the dessert, but some old smart teacher explained him that it's not good for your health- so now I can eat my dessert straight after my main course.


If I would have to choose my favorite dessert- I will go to go with vanilla. Chocolate is good for my weak moments, but when I really want to have something good- there's nothing better than vanilla. Lately I discovered the Crème Brule. In the restaurants I prefer to order things I can't do at home (too long, too hard, too messy…) - and the Crème Brule is one of those things. Three years ago it was the cheese cake- I tried to order it in 4 different restaurants during one month- but every time there was a problem. They ran out of the cheese cake, they made it with fruits (I hate mushy fruits on cakes) etc. Eventually I had to find a recipe and made it myself!!! Imagine that ;-)

 As for the poll I had here few weeks ago to see what's your favorite dessert- "something with cheese" won the 1st place, "something with chocolate" won the 2nd and unfortunately- vanilla got only the 3rd place. But the good news is- no one chose the option "I don't like desserts" :-)
